The amaran 200x S is a professional 200W bi-color Bowens Mount point-source LED monolight designed for filmmaking, photography, interviews, commercials, studio production, and content creation. It features an upgraded dual-blue LED chipset that significantly improves spectral quality compared with the previous-generation 200x.
It offers a 2700K–6500K adjustable color-temperature range and delivers excellent color reproduction with CRI 95+, TLCI 98+, SSI 89+ at D56 and 90+ at D32. With the included Hyper Reflector, output reaches up to 45,400 lux at 1m at 5600K, making it a powerful option for both controlled studio lighting and location work.
The 200x S has an integrated control system and can be controlled wirelessly through the Sidus Link app, including access to nine built-in lighting effects. It can operate from AC power or, with the optional Aputure 2-Bay Battery Power Station, from two V-Mount or Gold-Mount batteries.
